"I like to take photographs of landscapes and animals home with me as precious trophies, they make me happy."

Besides her nearly full-time job Pauline Helders

spends as much time as possible on her passion

for photography.

In 2012 she moved to a DSLR camera.

Some years, many books read, and thousands

of photos farther she is even more dedicated to photography.

She has followed some courses and several workshops to broaden her knowledge.

Her fascination for the behavior of animals and

the beauty of nature is reflected in her work.

Most of her photos are made while traveling,

but trips are also made to special photo destinations.

Despite her preference for nature photography, she finds it challenging to capture other subjects as well.

"As far as photography is concerned, I am a kind of omnivore."

Characteristic of her photos is her eye for detail.

Pauline shoots with a Canon EOS 70D and Canon EOS 5D Mark III.
